Woke up to this......
just a skiff of snow...but come on already, it is only September 13th. Hopefully it will be gone in a day or two. Had a tree removed this summer and the stump ground, so decided to reseed the entire front lawn, the new grass looks a little odd peeking out of the snow.
As for Fall decorating, I went all out this year.
Hung this on the front door, took all of 14 seconds, I was exhausted! Found this at the Dollar Tree where almost nothing is $1.00 in Canada.
Funny story, for once I remembered to bring in my reusable shopping bags inside. This location charges .5 cents per bag, so it pays to be thrifty to bring your own, also helps the environment.
At the till I say hello to the cashier and ask how she is, her response was a kind of a grunt and the mumbling about her name tag. I told her that I brought in my own bags. Next thing I see is she is putting my items into plastic bags, I tell her again that I brought my own bags. Sorry she says, I thought you said you needed bags. She then goes and gets a cardboard box and starts to put my items into the box. Excuse me, I say, I brought my own bags. Oh right, you did she says. I think she needed a coffee or something. No need to share the rest of the conversation, it was a little odd.
