Bucket List

Thrifting Bucket list

I am not the only one, right? The person who has a revolving list in their head of what is on their thrifting bucket list.

Is yours a piece of China that was your Moms that was broken in a move, maybe a Vintage Christmas ornament that you remember on your Grandma's tree. Well this was near the top of my list.

Starburst Clock

This sale last nite was AMAZING. So much cool, vintage and interesting stuff. The garage and driveway were full as well as the house. I did restrain myself and only picked up a few things.

I have looked for a Starburst clock for years, I have seen them all over the interweb and always wanted to get my hands on one.

The cord has been altered, so we will replace it. This is pretty dirty as was everything. It was on the garage floor, I did a double take when I saw it. This will be part of the "catch and release program" I am on, lol.

Found this other clock in the kitchen, also super dirty, but still adorable.

These people had a thing about messing with cords. This is also a member of the catch and release program.

My Husband spotted this hanging on the garage wall, once cleaned up (there are spider nests on the back.....pretty sure no one wanted a picture of that) and the bend hopefully taken out, also a member of the program. This was not for sale till we asked about it, never hurts to ask. These sell very very well in the area, so hoping for a good return.

This is not a part of the program, even though my Husband wishes it would be.

Isn't he adorable? Ceramic Santa is about 11 inches tall and almost as wide. I bought him because, well, I like him :) and also what was hiding in his toy bag.

More Vintage Christmas bits. I have a large china cabinet that holds my milk glass collection, I stuff the vases full of this type of Vintage Christmas. It looks so pretty against all the white.

What did I pay for all this.....wait for it....wait...hang on.......

$4.00....4 loonies...or 2 toonies ....pretty good eh?

I also picked up a large tote bag of dolls, old Barbies, a Cabbage Patch doll and a few others. The dog helped me sort through the bag last nite, she was so disappointed when she was not allowed to have a new "baby".  The entire bag full was also 1.00. I have a few boxes of old Barbies as well as a Barbie Camper that will be going to auction in the New Year, so will add all of this to the pile.

I have become such a lazy gardener the last several years. I would rather spend my time doing anything but watering plants. There were several hanging baskets of artificial plants and flowers, so picked up three to hang on the front porch next year. I will wash then in the bath tub and store them in the basement until next year.....yup, you guessed it right, they were also a buck each.

One of the best sales all year, spent 8.00 dollars. Might have to go back tonite and have another look.

Till next time...

happy Hunting!
